Nicholas Bolognini, third from left, drew cartoon characters and superheroes on a dozen pillowcases, which he donated to South Nassau Communities Hospital’s Pediatrics Department as a way to bring cheer to sick children. Bolognini was inspired by his cousin, Jessica Gruenfelder, who underwent four brain surgeries at the hospital after suffering two strokes.
