East Rockaway hosted Lynbrook in the annual friendship basketball games on Dec. 21, when the boys’ and girls’ varsity and JV teams tipped off. The event was a fundraiser to benefit the Gregg’s Wings Foundation, which donates toys to NYU Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids, and to provide scholarships to seniors at both schools. Lynbrook’s Richard Correa Lampasona went airborne for two points.
