The unofficial results for the Nassau County Legislature and Town of Hempstead election races are as follows: Dorothy Goosby, the Democratic incumbent for the town's First Councilmatic District, defeated Republican challenger Tracy Worthy, 10,496 votes to 2,074. The district encompasses Lakeview, portions of West Hempstead and Baldwin, Uniondale and Roosevelt, among other areas. more
