Sal Canepa dances in his head — but not before he listens to the tune about a half dozen times and then, painstakingly and intricately, puts each step on paper. Canepa is now working with the cast of Island Park Theatre Group’s “On Broadway — A Musical Revue,” which features full, well-known songs from 29 Broadway musicals.

Over 60 gallons of batter, donated by the Pantry Diner, was turned into the pancakes that 1,200 guests at last week’s Breakfast with Santa’s Helpers event enjoyed. Chefs from the diner also donated their time and talents to feed the crowd that filled the Recreation Center’s lobby for three seatings that morning.
