The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory up until 6 p.m. for Long Island. Nassau County could see 2 to 4 inches of snow, while Suffolk County could get 4 to 8 inches. The Long Island Rail Road and its customers may suffer minor delays on other branches during the morning rush hour and should give themselves extra time getting to the stations.

Most of the snow from the blizzard two weeks ago was gone. Lawns and curbs were visible again. That all changed Friday morning as another winter storm hit Long Island, dropping about 6 inches on Seaford and Wantagh.
