After losing several trees during the storm this spring, Steele School received a maple tree through a grant from the Cornell Cooperative Extension. In honor of Arbor Day, Steele held a planting ceremony with all grades in attendance. Director of Facilities Michael Sheehan told the students to remember this day in the years to come when they pass by Steele School and see the sapling grow into a strong, large tree that will provide shade for future Steele School students. more
