Village administrators have taken action to turn their master redeveloping plan for the “little five corners” area at Hempstead and Lakeview Avenues into a beautiful reality. The board of trustees approved Molloy College's application to rent 200 parking spots in Municipal Parking Field 12 on Sunrise Highway for the upcoming semester. The move, by a vote of 4-1 came during the July 20 Board of Trustees meeting at the Recreation Center, which lasted into the wee hours of July 21, after extensive public comment for the repeal of the legislation banning pit bulls and Rottweilers.
