Two Calhoun High School seniors –– Asia Brown and Tiffany Minors –– have been named Outstanding Participants in the 2012 National Achievement Scholarship Program. The distinction is awarded annually to the top 3 percent of more than 160,000 African-American students based on their scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, taken in 10th grade.
