Once again the Sandel Senior Center was transformed into a glittering casino with an array of delicious food, an open bar, professional dealers, entertainment and prizes for its annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser on April 30. The seventh and eighth-graders at East Rockaway’s Jr./Sr. High School held their annual Sports Night on April 14, complete with girls’ dancing, Cage volleyball, Tug-of-War, and a pie eating contest — among other events.
The evening included a Chinese Auction, with part proceeds going toward the Wounded Warrior Project.
