Valley Stream Troop 369 Boy Scouts, leaders and volunteers worked at the new dog park last Saturday to put the finishing touches on a variety of projects.
A pair of Boy Scouts from Troop 369 worked on their community service projects on April 14 at the new Valley Stream Dog Park, set to open the first weekend in May. Peter Marin is building a shed for dog park equipment and supplies, and Shaun Powers is building two informational signs. The aspiring Eagle Scouts were joined by more than a dozen volunteers and scout leaders to complete the work.
