The Long Island International Film Expo, hosted by the Long Island Film/TV Foundation, will return to the Bellmore Movies this week. American Legion Post 854 began its Memorial Day service ahead of time, with a commemoration at the Legion Hall on Roosevelt Avenue Sunday morning, followed by a service at the Brooklyn Avenue School. more
The Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce honored the family of Mia Ameruoso, the first Long Island baby born in 2010, at its May 19 meeting.
