The Valley Stream Historical Society hosted its annual Gingerbread House Contest on Dec. 8 at the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration. Guests were able to come in and vote for their favorite gingerbread creation, and picked up some holiday treats. more

It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration on Sunday. This year’s gingerbread house contest, sponsored by the Valley Stream Historical Society, brought out about a dozen people to the annual event. more
The Valley Stream Historical Society has successfully campaigned and won approval for new historical markers at Mitchel Field. The society was recruited for the project by Josh Staff, curator at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Uniondale. more
