A single member of Congress will no longer represent all 40,000-plus Valley Stream residents beginning next year. Effective Jan. 1, 2013, New York state’s Congressional districts will be shifting, splitting Valley Stream into both the new 5th and 4th districts. more

As mentioned in your editorial last week, “Village, Community Association should work together,” the Mill Brook Civic Association has a great working relationship with all federal, state, town, county and even village of Valley Stream officials. It is very important to put politics behind you and work closely with those people elected by us. more
