The decision to open the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library on Sundays is a good move by the village. Valley Stream has one of the few libraries in Nassau County that is closed on Sundays, and that is unacceptable.

Snakes and turtles and children... oh my!

The Henry Waldinger Memorial Library hosted Reptiles on the Move, an interactive program for children and teens on June 11. Reptile Specialist Marie Leighton introduced the group to a variety of creatures including snakes, turtles, lizards and dragons.
