The Wantagh High School gymnastics team, winner of its first nine meets this year, is eyeing a trip to the county championships next month. The varsity team, under the direction of coach Eileen Keener, consists of 14 girls.

When they sit down to pick their courses for the 2015-16 school year, Wantagh High School students will have a host of new options thanks to the Board of Education, which recently approved a series of new electives.
