Although they were born six to seven decades apart, the men from the Bristal All-Stars, of the Long Island Senior Softball Association, and kids from the Baldwin Summer Program hit it off at an instructional practice on July 16. more

Baldwin residents are dusting off their walking shoes in preparation for the community’s sixth annual Relay For Life event, which will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11. p.m. at Baldwin Park.

Relaying for a cure

The Baldwin community has done its fair share of rallying together in recent years, including in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy and following last year’s school budget cuts. Little League celebrates new season

Under sunny skies, the Baldwin Little League “kicked off” its spring season with an opening day ceremony at Baldwin Park. The actual season began in mid-April and rain delayed the ceremony once before. more
