The rear of a Florin Court home sustained “moderate” damage after a fire broke out on an outdoor deck last Friday, fire officials said. At about 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 31, Bellmore Fire Department Engine 306 was the first to respond to a report of a house fire on Florin Court near Lefferts Place in Bellmore, officials said.
