A man robbed a Bank of America on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 9:15 a.m., according to police. The incident follows a robbery attempt at the Citibank in Merrick last week. In each case, the suspect's dress and appearance are similar, according to surveillance photographs, but police could not confirm whether the man was one and the same person in both incidents. more
