Twenty-one cabanas at the Silver Point Beach Club in Atlantic Beach were destroyed in a fire that broke out Thursday evening.
Firefighters responded to the fire at the well-known beach club, at 2189 Atlantic Boulevard, just after 5 p.m. Thursday. The nearly two dozen cabanas that were destroyed were located in the Court No. 2 area of the facility.
