Students at Old Mill Road Elementary School in North Merrick had a chance to stretch their legs and have a ball while also raising funds for the PTA during Winterfest at the school on Jan. 21. Kids engaged in all sorts of crafts, games and sports during the daylong event, which gave children a little respite from the cold and snow outside.
