More than two dozen professionally dressed, career-minded Baldwin High School students paired off with professors and program heads at Hofstra University during the school’s 20th annual Shadow Day Program on March 15. Every year, Baldwin High sends about 25 sophomores and juniors to Hofstra. The students are chosen based on their educational and career interests. Participants get a real sense of what it’s like to be a college student. They sit in classes, meet professors and chat with students. more
