Following a successful debut last month, the Baldwin Civic Association will once again bring food, family activities and community spirit to the Baldwin Community Garden when it hosts its second Food Truck Fest on June 5.
The event will take place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the community garden, located at 1980 Grand Ave. Organizers are inviting residents to gather for an evening of food, entertainment and neighborhood fellowship.
The upcoming festival follows a similar event held May 22, which drew residents to the community garden for an evening of food and community engagement. Organizers hope to build on that momentum with the June 5 gathering.
Several food vendors are scheduled to participate, including Coalhouse Food Truck, Royal BBQ Elite, Amped Panadas and Chubby Cheeks Ice Cream Trailer. Attendees will be able to purchase a variety of barbecue dishes, panadas, desserts and other festival favorites.
In addition to the food offerings, the event will feature activities for children, making it a family-friendly outing for residents of all ages.
The Baldwin Civic Association, founded in 2001, regularly sponsors events and initiatives aimed at strengthening the community and improving quality of life in the hamlet. The organization has supported beautification projects, civic advocacy efforts and neighborhood programming throughout Baldwin.
Organizers said the Food Truck Fest is designed to bring neighbors together in a relaxed outdoor setting while showcasing local businesses and fostering community connections.
Admission is free. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from participating vendors.
