This past weekend, the Baldwin community rang in the holiday season with The Irish Pub’s sixth annual toy drop-off and car show on Dec. 7. Community members had the opportunity to donate toys to the Little St. Nick’s foundation, while checking out remarkable vintage cars brought by the Baldwin Hot Rod Association.
Shawn Sabel, Baldwin’s Businessperson of the Year and owner of The Irish Pub, is known to give back to his community. “We just want to thank the community for coming out, showing up, and donating five big boxes of toys to the Little St. Nick’s toy drive,” he said. Sabel, along with Steve Burke, have been running this event for six years and have no plans of stopping.
“We will continue to keep the pedal to the floor in giving back during the holiday season,” Sabel said.
