Baldwin High School's music department celebrated student achievement and honored graduating seniors during its Spring Concert 2 on May 28.

The evening featured performances by several of the school's ensembles, including the Chamber Orchestra directed by Stephanie Muir; the Concert Choir, directed by Kristine Costello and accompanied by Soyoung Chen; and the Baldwin Wind Symphony, conducted by Scott Dunn.

The Chamber Orchestra performed selections including “Hungarian Dance No. 5,” “Overture to Nabucco” and “Century One Tusconic,” while the Concert Choir and Wind Symphony showcased works they had prepared throughout the school year.

In addition to highlighting the talents of student musicians, the annual concert recognized seniors for their dedication and contributions to Baldwin's music program. Family members, friends and faculty gathered to celebrate the students' accomplishments as they prepare for graduation.

The concert came shortly after Baldwin was named one of the 2026 Best Communities for Music Education by The NAMM Foundation, a national designation recognizing school districts that demonstrate outstanding commitment to music education and student access to the arts.
