A bomb threat was messaged to 988 Lifeline, a suicide and crisis chat hotline, at 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Nassau police said.

The anonymous person said that bombs had been placed around the Kellenberg Memorial High School on Glenn Curtiss Boulevard in Uniondale.

Police and Homeland Security responded to the school that was evacuated, while it was searched. No bombs were found, according to police.

A second bomb threat was sent to the same hotline at 6:38 on the morning of Sept. 11, according to police, and the school was searched before anyone was there. Police reported that no bombs were found.

A third was sent to the school district on Thursday as well. After police and investigators searched the premises, no explosive devices were found.

There was a fourth bomb threat reported this afternoon, according to officials, but it was not deemed credible.

"The incidents at Kellenberg High School have been determined to be unfounded and not credible," a spokesperson from the police department said in a statement. "The investigation into who is responsible for these falsely reported threats is ongoing."

The investigation is continuing, police said.
