Nassau BOCES Barry Tech recently honored more than 100 industry partners during its annual Industry Advisory Recognition Brunch.
Among those attending the event were Barry Tech Nurse Assisting teacher Marie Brown and industry representatives Nancy Coogan, a retired registered nurse from Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital, and Paula Magdalena Vidal, president of Autism Horizon Consulting.
The annual brunch brings together students, educators and Nassau BOCES board members, administrators, faculty and staff to thank industry mentors for their continued guidance, collaboration and support of student learning.
