Parking a concern at Aquatic Center

Parking at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park has long been a problem, according to regular visitors to the 80,000-square-foot facility. The Aquatic Center regularly hosts major swimming and diving competitions in its pool, as well as local high school events and swim club workouts. The popular facility has hundreds of visitors each day. more

County breaks ground on ice center

Eisenhower Park will soon be home to an 85,000-square-foot sports and recreation center, highlighted by two National Hockey League-sized ice rinks and one outdoor recreational rink. The privately financed complex will cost an estimated $15 million to construct, and will be funded by a company called Twin Rinks at Eisenhower Park LLC. more
