2 adults stabbed, baby injured in East Meadow

18 month old child and mother were stabbed by husband on Cooper Drive in East Meadow on March 23 according to the Nassau County Police Department. According to sources Lisa Simonetti , 38, was stabbed multiple times by her husband, 37,  around 6:30 p.m.

Neigbors said that Simonetti ran out of her house to neighbors screaming and covered in blood.  When officers arrived, they discovered a man and a woman, both with stab wounds, and the little girl with wounds on her arm and head.

The two adults were transported to Nassau University Medical Center and are said to be in critical condition. The toddler is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation  is ongoing.
