Music fans gathered at Eisenhower Park on June 7 for an evening of free live entertainment as Blessid Union of Souls and Fun Lovin’ Criminals took the stage at the Lakeside Theatre.

The concert, part of Nassau County’s summer entertainment lineup, featured performances by both bands, drawing residents and visitors to the East Meadow park for a night of nostalgia and classic hits.

Blessid Union of Souls performed several of its best-known songs, including “Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)” and “I Believe.” Fun Lovin’ Criminals followed with fan favorites such as “Scooby Snacks” and “Love Unlimited.”

Attendees brought lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the outdoor concert under clear skies, filling the theater grounds as the bands delivered a mix of rock, pop and alternative hits from the 1990s.

The event was held at the Lakeside Theatre, one of the county’s most popular outdoor concert venues, and was free and open to the public. The performance was one of several concerts scheduled throughout the summer season at Eisenhower Park.
