East Meadow Crime Watch

Grand Larceny Auto
   
- A 1996 Jeep Cherokee on Eisenhower Place was stolen from a driveway between June 20 and June 21.
   
- A 1992 Isuzu dump truck was stolen while parked on Hempstead Turnpike, sometime between 6 p.m. on June 18 and 6 a.m. on June 19.

  
- A 2008 Honda Civic was stolen from in front of a home on Third Street, sometime between 9 p.m. on June 13 and 8:30 a.m. on June 14.

Robberies
   
- An unknown subject followed a victim into a bathroom at the Nassau University Medical Center, struck her and removed her cell phone and $26, on June 21 at about 5 a.m.
   
- A credit card was stolen from an automobile parked at the Walmart shopping center in East Meadow on June 21, sometime between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
   
- A wallet was removed from a Chevy Trailblazer parked at the Eisenhower Aquatic Center in East Meadow, sometime between June 21 and June 28.

Assault

- Inmate Brittney Epps injured a corrections officer on June 15 at about 2:45 p.m. in the Nassau County Correctional Center in East Meadow, police said.

- A suspect allegedly punched a victim in the face and struck her with a broom stick, causing a laceration under the eye, on June 26 at a home on Salisbury Road, police said.

Vandalism

On numerous occasions throughout the night, fruit and meat were thrown against a patio and house on Mist Lane in Salisbury, between June 6 at 9 p.m. and June 17 at 8 a.m.
