Nassau BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Robert Dillon was honored by more than one hundred guests at a recognition dinner held by the Nassau BOCES Educational Foundation as part of their annual golf outing at the Stonebridge Golf Links & Country Club last month.

Among those at the event to honor Dillon were a group of respected educators from the East Meadow School District, where Dillon was a superintendent for several years. The East Meadow contingent, boasted former school board members, superintendents and cabinet members (collectively representing hundreds of years of educational service), were all on hand to honor the educational leader.

“East Meadow School District is one of the best in its service to its children and taxpayers,” said Dr. Frank Saracino, a former superintendent from the district. “Dr. Robert Dillon is a major reason for the success of the district.”

“It’s great to be in the company of these individuals who dedicated decades of their lives for the betterment of the children of East Meadow,” Dillon said. “I am honored to be counted among the group of East Meadow educators who made the school district as exceptional as it is today.”
