Burglary
Newbridge Laundromat on Newbridge Road in East Meadow was broken into sometime between Oct. 23 and Oct. 24, police said. According to police, an unspecified amount of money was reported stolen from the business.
Robberies
- A laptop and jewelry were stolen from a home on Dofena Lane in East Meadow, sometime between Dec. 1, 2009 and Oct. 17.
- A shoplifter swiped merchandise from a store on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow on Oct. 21 at about 10:55 p.m.
Suspicious
A worker at a cell phone store on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow reported seeing three men in the store attempting to distract employees on Oct. 15 at about 5:30 p.m. Other stores had experienced larcenies of cell phones.
