Investigators seek a suspect who robbed an East Meadow bank last week.
According to detectives, the subject entered the Roslyn Savings Bank on Front Street on Nov. 4 at about 4:34 p.m. and verbally demanded cash from the tellers. The tellers complied and gave the subject an unknown amount of currency, police said.
Police said the subject, who did not display a weapon, fled on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
Police described the subject as a black male, about 6’2” to 6’3” wearing a tan knit hat and a green-hooded sweatshirt. The subject also had a white gauze bandage on his left cheek, police said.

Robbery
An unknown shoplifter struck at the shopping center on 2411 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow on Nov. 1 at about 7:30 p.m. An unspecified amount of merchandise was taken.
Burglaries
- A commercial business, Cards Etc., on Merrick Avenue, was burglarized between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5. There was no evidence of a break in, but the alarm for the front door went off. Lottery tickets and cartons of cigarettes were stolen.
- A home on Forest Avenue in East Meadow was burglarized on Nov. 6 between 4:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. The mode of entry is unknown. Assorted coins, video games, iPods, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP systems, Dell computers and assorted jewelry were stolen.
