Recent burglaries around East Meadow, Salisbury

-       A home on Gloucester Court in Salisbury was burglarized on Dec. 3, sometime between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. According to police, the home was ransacked, resulting in the loss of jewelry and $8,000.

-       According to police, security noticed male subjects running out of W.T. Clarke High School on Edgewood Drive at about 11:35 p.m. on Dec. 10. An unknown liquid was spilled on gym mats, and paper towels were thrown around, police said. No damages were reported.

-        Copper was removed from an electrical box in a building on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, sometime between Dec. 1 and Dec. 9. Upon arrival of police, officers determined that homeless people were living inside the building.
