The 3rd Precinct reported seven burglaries — six in Salisbury and one in East Meadow — between Nov. 4 and Nov. 17:
- Burglars ransacked a home on Friends Lane in Salisbury on Nov. 11 and stole a laptop, knives, jewelry and a DVD player. The incident occurred sometime between 5:15 and 9:58 p.m.
- About $40,000 in jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on Edgewood Drive in Salisbury. Police said the home was burglarized sometime between 2:50 and 9:42 p.m. on Nov. 11.
- An attempted burglary was reported on Oakwood Court in Salisbury on Nov. 12, sometime between 7:15 and 10:30. Police said nothing was stolen.
- Assorted jewelry, cash and a music player were swiped by burglars from a home on Bowling Green Drive on Nov. 13, at about 10 p.m.
- A bedroom on Elderberry Drive in Salisbury was ransacked on Nov. 17, sometime between 4:30 and 6:35 p.m. Jewelry was reported stolen.
- A home on Erma Drive in East Meadow was broken into and ransacked sometime between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 4. Assorted jewelry was stolen.
Cops search for another bank robber
A subject entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union on 750 Old Country Road in Salisbury and demanded money from a teller on Nov. 15 at about 2:25 p.m., according to police.
The thief, who stated that he had a gun, demanded $8,800 and asked for specified specific monetary dominations and no security dye packs, police said. The teller complied and handed the money to the subject in a plastic bag. The man then fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.

Grand larceny auto
A parked 2002 Cadillac Deville was stolen from Clearmeadow Drive and Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow on Nov. 14, sometime between 7 and 10 p.m. The vehicle was left parked with the keys in the vehicle.
Robberies
- A shoplifter swiped merchandise from a store at 2411 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow on Nov. 5 at about 6:45 p.m.
- A wallet with credit cards was stolen from a home on Melanie Drive in East Meadow on Nov. 7 at about 1:45 a.m.
Arrests
