The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce’s fourth annual Experience Lynbrook event brought residents and local businesses together on March 7 at the Lynbrook Public Library, highlighting the village’s small-business community in a lively afternoon of networking, food and entertainment.

About 25 businesses set up booths throughout the library, including lawyers, realtors, mental health counselors and local gyms, giving residents the opportunity to meet business owners and learn about services available throughout the village.

Audrey Donaldson, the chamber’s second vice president and organizer of the event, said turnout was strong throughout the afternoon. “There was a great turnout,” Donaldson said. “I think better than last year — most of the day the room was filled with people.” Live music was provided by Christine Solimeno, whom Donaldson said “did a fantastic job,” while food was offered by Elsie Lane, Gourmology and Pearsall’s Station. Several local elected officials also stopped by during the event.

Chamber President Michela Argento-Serra said the event exceeded expectations. “Turnout was everything we hoped for and more,” she said. “All of our members that participated showed up and showed out. We thank everyone for coming and for all their support.”
