Lynbrook Kindergarten Center students celebrated the end of their first year of school during a moving-up ceremony on June 24 at Lynbrook High School.
The Class of 2038 marked the occasion by wearing colorful caps and performing songs led by music teacher Lauren Behan, including “It’s a Small World,” “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “Rainbow Connection,” “Time to Say Goodbye” and “On My Way.”
During the ceremony, members of the Kindergarten Parents’ Club thanked the school’s staff for their support and presented Principal Ellen Postman with a special recognition.
In a letter to the graduates, Postman encouraged students to continue embracing new experiences with confidence and curiosity as they prepare to enter first grade.
