Residents gathered at Greis Park on June 13 for the Lynbrook Recreation Center’s “Rock into Summer” concert, an evening of live music, food and community fun. The free event featured performances by The Project, a classic rock band that played favorites from across the decades at the park’s gazebo.
Families, friends and neighbors filled the lawn with blankets and chairs while enjoying the three-hour concert, which kicked off the community’s summer event season. Attendees also had the option to purchase food from J&J Taste Food Truck and desserts from Mr. Flavors Ice Cream, giving visitors a chance to enjoy dinner and a sweet treat while listening to live music.
The concert was one of the Lynbrook Recreation Center’s summer programs designed to bring residents together outdoors and provide free entertainment for the community. The evening offered a relaxed atmosphere as people of all ages enjoyed music, warm weather and time with friends and family at Greis Park.
