Several Giants fans gathered at the Backstage Nite Club in Woodmere to watch the NFC championship game between the Giants and the San Francisco 49ers that Big Blue won in overtime thanks to a 31-yard field goal by Lawrence Tynes.
It is the second time in four years that Tynes has kicked on OT field goal to put the Giants in the Super Bowl. Big Blue will play the New England Patriots on Feb. 5. Earlier in the season the Giants defeated New England 24-20 and four years ago ended the Patriots perfect season with a 17-14 upset in Super Bowl XLII.
