Alums from the Five Towns Trade School held its 30th annual Valentine’s Disco dance at the Five Towns Community Center in Lawrence on Feb. 16.
The trade school was located where the community center is now on Lawrence Avenue. It served as a recreational and educational center, where toddlers through teenagers could learn skills, such as cooking or photography, or play games with friends.
More than 150 longtime friends traded stories, ate and danced during the five-hour event. Rose bouquets were raffled off to five guests. Proceeds support the group’s scholarship fund that awards money to Lawrence High School seniors.
