Freeport’s 'Movies in the Park' Continues with 'Trolls Band Together' on July 11

Families searching for a no-cost evening of entertainment will be thrilled as the screenings of free movies will continue on, July 11, 2024, after dusk., at Cow Meadow Park, 701 S. Main St. with Trolls Band Together.

The event is under the auspices of Village Hall, and the free movies kicked off with Inside Out on June 27.

“The Village of Freeport is again enjoying “Movies in the Park” for the summer of 2024,” says Mayor Robert Kennedy.

“Bring the family with blankets, or beach chairs and join us at Cow Meadow Park. We hope everyone has a great summer.”

Gates open at 7:30 p.m.., which is the same time that an ice cream truck will arrive.

The other movie showings will be July 25 and August 8, “The Super Mario Brother’s Movie” and “Encanto” respectively.

Pets are permitted in the park. If you bring a dog, ensure it is leashed, unless it is in one of the newly inaugurated small- and large-dog parks within Cow Meadow Park.
