Narcotics and Vice Squad detectives said a South Hempstead man sold heroin in Lynbrook and North Merrick on two unspecified dates and was arrested on Nov. 5 by Bureau of Special Operations police officers on Pettit Avenue in North Merrick.

Jonathan George, 28, sold heroin to another person for an agreed upon amount of cash in both Lynbrook and North Merrick, according to police. He is being charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Nov. 6.
