Arrests
On Jan. 10 at 10:30 p.m., a 34-year-old man of Flushing, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Rockaway Avenue in Lynbrook.


At 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 11, a 16-year-old Lynbrook youth was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawfully dealing with a child on Hollywood Avenue in Lynbrook. The defendant was having a house party in which two 15-year-old youths were found under the influence of alcohol.

A 27-year old of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of interlock device, and speeding on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Jan. 13 at 12:30 a.m.

On Jan. 13 at 10:33 a.m., a 34-year-old man of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, improper plates and equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

Lost property
At 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, a complainant reported that walking on Central Avenue in Lynbrook they lost their black leather bag, which contained their Republic of India Passport and $250 in cash. The total loss is valued at $250.
Recovered stolen
property
At 11 a.m. on Jan. 8 a 2008 Honda CRV, which was reported stolen in Suffolk County on Jan. 6, was recovered in the private parking area of Capri Motor Inn, located at 5 Freer St.

Criminal mischief
On Jan. 9 at 10:03 p.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) damaged their 2000 Ford Explorer, by scratching it with an unknown object, while it was parked in the rear of 88 Atlantic Ave., Lynbrook The total amount of the damage is $500.

Assault
At 4:22 p.m. on Jan. 11, a complainant, while standing at the bar area of Mary MacNamara’s located at 44 Stauderman Ave., Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person(s) struck them in the rear of their head with a clenched fist causing an injury. The subject ran from the scene through the side door into the parking area.

Petit larceny
On Jan. 12 at 2:40 p.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed several Christmas decorations from their front yard on Oak Street in Lynbrook. The decorations, a 3-foot-tall angel and a 3-foot-tall tall manger set, are valued at $300.

Criminal mischief
At 10 a.m. on Jan. 13, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) damaged their 2013 Toyota Rav, by scratching it with an unknown object, while it was parked in front of 9 Union Ave., Lynbrook The total amount of the damage is $400.
