Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
 On Oct. 8 at 10:30 p.m., A 32-year-old of Massapequa, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and speeding on Sunrise Highway

At 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 9, a 24-year-old of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A 44-year-old of Levittown, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Oct. 10 at 11:55 a.m.

At 2 p.m. on Oct. 10, a 22-year-oldf Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana on Canterbury Gate in Lynbrook.

On Oct. 13 at 3:46 a.m., a 25-year-old of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and unsafe lane change on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.

A 33 year old of Amityville, was arrested and charged with a Town of Hempstead code violation for no company sign on motor vehicle (warrant) on Merrick Road on Oct. 13 at 10:45 p.m.

Assault
At 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 10, a complainant reported that while at the Purple Frog Pub, located at 267A Merrick Road, Lynbrook, they were involved in an argument about the rules of a game when another patron, who was not involved in the argument, assaulted the complainant.

Lost property
On Oct. 11 at 7:10 p.m., a complainant reported that they lost their Samsung Galaxy cell phone in the vicinity of Peninsula Boulevard and Everett Street in Lynbrook. The value of the phone is $400.

Robbery
At 8:05 p.m. on Oct. 12, a complainant reported that after taking a taxi to his residence, located on Dawes Avenue in Lynbrook, they were robbed by the taxi driver. The total amount of the money taken is $7,800.
