Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
On Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m., a 50-year-old man of Uniondale, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to stop at driveway and an open warrant for no business license on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

At 3:15 a.m. on Jan. 24, a 23-year-old man of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and unsafe lane change on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.


A 20-year-old woman of Great Neck, was arrested and charged with petit larceny at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters on Jan. 24 at 3:34 p.m. The defendant was charged with the larceny of Christmas decorations from 504 Merrick Road on Dec. 7, 2013.

On Jan. 19 at 1:36 p.m., a 29-year-old of Copiague, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 24, a 43-year-old man of West Hampton Beach, was arrested and charged with assault and two counts of criminal mischief on Scranton Avenue in Lynbrook.

On Jan. 24 at 7:20 p.m., a 19-year-old of Woodhaven, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Pathmark, at 492 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway.
n At 7:35 p.m. on Jan. 24, Tyler Greene, 19, of Middle Village, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Pathmark, at 492 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway.

A 31-year-old woman of Kingston, was arrested and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Merrick Road in Lynbrook on Jan. 26 at 2:20 a.m.

Aggravated harassment
At 11:55 p.m. on Jan. 23, a complainant reported receiving phone calls and text messages that were threatening and have put the complainant in fear of their safety.

Petit larceny
On Jan. 25 at 10:45 p.m., a complainant, the manager of Lynbrook Terrace located at 504 Merrick Road, reported that a plant was removed from the laundry room. The value of the plant is $50.

Criminal mischief
At 12:45 a.m. on Jan. 26, a complainant reports that an unknown person(s) damaged their PVC fence, which is located on Leroy Place in Lynbrook. The fence is valued at $150.
