Crime Watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests
On Sept. 6 at 11:13 p.m., a 41-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Sept. 10 at 8:25 p.m., a 56-year-old Long Beach man was arrested on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.


On Sept. 12 at 1:00 a.m., a 22-year-old Hewlett Harbor man was arrested on Union Avenue in Lynbrook and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.


Criminal mischief
Between 2 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 12, a window and headlight were broken on a 2003 Saturn parked on Stevenson Street in Lynbrook. According to police, there was $225 in damages.


Grand larceny
Between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 4, credit cards and $61 were removed from a vehicle parked on Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway.

Larceny
On July 29, a Lynbrook complainant reports that he paid $8,060 to a person in San Diego, CA to purchase an automobile that was listed on eBay and never received the vehicle.


Between 11 a.m. and midnight on Sept. 2, an Apple iPhone valued at $300 was taken from a cargo van parked on New Street in Lynbrook.


On Sept. 14 at 9:46 a.m., $160 worth of merchandise was taken from the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 400 Sunrise Hwy. in Lynbrook. According to police, two subjects described as black females left the scene in a dark blue automobile.
