Arrests
On Feb. 1 at 12:55 a.m. a 19-year-old Valley Stream man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle on Horton Avenue. The defendant was also charged with an open warrant for uninsured motor vehicle.
At 1:10 p.m. on Feb. 1, a 19-year-old Ozone Park woman was arrested and charged with False Personation, unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Highway. The defendant was also charged with a warrant for robbery from the NYCPD.
On Feb. 1 at 4:40 p.m., a 25-year-old Jamaica woman was arrested and charged with petit larceny from CVS at 633 Merrick Rd., Lynbrook.
a 17-year old from Lynbrook was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Duncan Avenue at 9 p.m. on Feb. 1.
At 11:25 p.m. on Feb. 5, a 30-year-old Arverne man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and unlicensed operation on Peninsula Boulevard.
On Feb. 7 at 12:40 a.m.,a 33-year-old Valley Stream person was arrested and charged with criminal mischief for an incident that occurred on Park Place.
At 8:20 p.m. on Feb. 9, a 27-year-old Valley Stream woman was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to obey a traffic control On Feb. 9 at 9p.m., a 34-year-old Jamaica man was arrested and charged with petit larceny from 343 Merrick Rd., Lynbrook.
A 19-year-old from Freeport was arrested and charged with an open warrant for petit larceny on Broadway on Feb. 9 at 11:37 p.m.
On Feb. 11 at 1:20 a.m., a 46-yearold Hempstead man was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property on Scranton Avenue. The defendant removed two automotive rims from Sunrise Volkswagen located at 931 Sunrise Hwy.
Identity theft
On Feb. 3, resident of Cambridge Road in East Rockaway reported being the victim of identity theft when an unauthorized transaction was made to their TD Bank credit card.
At 9:40 a.m. on Feb. 1, a complainant reports that an unknown person(s) opened a credit account by using their social security number in Florida.
On Feb. 9 at 10:05 a.m., the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) used their name and their son’s name while filing a tax return.
