East Rockaway company gets the gold -- and the silver!
Awards for R.A. Krendel Contracting
R.A. Krendel Contracting, a contracting firm located in East Rockaway, received a Gold Contractor of the Year Award for Residential Kitchen $40,000 to $80,000 from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry Chapter, and a Silver Contractor of the Year Award for Residential Addition Under $100,000.
The silver award was for a second story room addition to the home of Lynbrook residents Christian and Denise Deputy. The Gold Award was for a kitchen remodel to Rocco and Susan Evangelista’s home in Garden City. COTY awards are judged by members of another NARI chapter on needs met, function, aesthetics, craftsmanship and innovation.
The NYC/LI annual CotY competition is renowned throughout the remodeling industry recognizing exceptional achievement in remodeling and construction. Bob Krendel received his award at the National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s “Evening of Excellence,” commonly regarded as the premier event of the year throughout the remodeling industry. The November 17 event was attended by more than 200 of the industry’s elite.
R. A. Krendel Contracting has been in interior renovations including kitchens, bathrooms, finished playrooms, interior and exterior doors, windows and decks for 30 years. Krendel is a certified kitchen and bath remodeler, and an EPA lead certified remodeler. The NARI certification program establishes high professional standards on which homeowners can rely. He is a previous winner of a 2010 gold COTY award.
