Two gun-wielding men robbed a 22-year-old East Rockaway man in his home on May 28, fleeing with his cell phone and wallet, police said.

According to 4th Squad detectives, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the victim invited the two men, who are acquaintances of his, into his house. Once inside, both men — Dwight Dobson, 21, of Roosevelt, and Tawaun Gordon, 24, whose address was not known — brandished handguns and took the victim’s phone and wallet, which contained credit cards and personal papers.

They fled the scene on foot, but police arrested them a short distance from the victim’s home. The stolen items were recovered.

Dobson and Gordon were both charged with first-degree robbery. Dobson was arraigned on May 29 at First District Court in Hempstead, while Gordon was transported to a local hospital after ingesting an unknown substance, and was to be arraigned when he his condition improved.
