Lynbrook fire chiefs congratulated

Outgoing Lynbrook Fire Chief Chris Kelly, right, congratulated Danny Ambrosio, of Vulcan Company, upon his election by the fire department membership on April 6 to Chief of Department for the coming year. 

Ambrosio has been an assistant chief for the past three years.

Ambrosio and the newly-elected incoming assistant fire chiefs — Third Assistant Chief James DiGambatista of Truck Company, far left; Second Assistant Chief Clayton Murphy of Vulcan Company; and First Assistant Chief Scott Bien of Truck Company — were scheduled to be sworn into office by Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach at the fire council meeting on April 18.
